The Department of Genetics at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center seeks an outstanding and highly interactive basic research scientist.
The successful candidate’s research uses genetic approaches in model organisms (e.g., C. elegans, Drosophila, yeast, zebra fish, mouse). The department seeks to complement its existing programs in developmental biology, DNA repair, RNA splicing, cell division and human and mouse cancer genetics. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, and will be expected to develop an internationally recognized, extramurally funded research program.
