CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION AVAILABLE AT UIC

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a Clinical-Track Assistant Professor position.

This position will start August 16, 2019. Successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction for one of Biological Sciences core lecture courses- either BIOS 120 ( Biology of Populations and Communities) or
BIOS 220 (Mendelian and Molecular Genetics) and handle the coordination of Genetics Laboratory (BioS 221). The successful candidate will develop the
curriculum for the graduate teaching assistants, create course syllabi and teaching materials used by students, and develop rubrics for assessments to test
new experiments and optimize them for student use to meet curriculum goals.

Candidates must have a PhD. degree and demonstrated record of teaching accomplishments, and experience with training teaching assistants. Research background is a plus.
