Hi everyone,
like in a topic, I’m looking for conditions that causes decrease in population. I use N2 and AB1 strains in normal condition (petri plates with NGM & OP50, at 20 degree). I do not want to change the breeding condition but maybe give them something to reduce e.g. velocity of reproduction.
I will be very thankful for any reply:)
Thanks
Marta

Marta,

You can slow things down a bit by growing the worms in a 12-13C incubator. Most strains are fine at this low temperature, but I would check any mutants to be sure they are okay.
