i’m interested in building a construct with the full-length coding sequence of a gene i’m studying and unfortunately the cDNA that I have is short on both the 3’ and 5’ end. i want to order a kohara clone but i’m not sure which one to get. do the ESTs aligned with my gene on the genome browser represent cDNAs that can be ordered/obtained?
If you click on the EST / mRNA on the Genome Browser, you will be taken to a page describing the sequence.
The origin field on that page describes the owner of the cDNA clone, who you can contact to ask for the clone.
Also most of the ESTs are from the Kohara lab in Japan, and are available for ordering.
