Hi All,

We have a VSL-337ND-S laser ablation set up from photoninc instruments. Even though is was unser the impression tthat these lasers should last for at least 5 years ours died within 3. Replacing the laser plasma cartridges is expensive. WHat is your experience with the longevity of these plasma cartridges? Are there any alternatives for these laser ablation set ups?

You should check with the vendor. That sounds short. However, as I recall, the plasma cartridge lifetime depends on the number of pulses. If you drilling through steel the laser might not last so long
