Dear all,
is there any standard way or recommended approach (I wouldn’t mind if it requires a bit of scripting) to convert genome positions between different WS releases?
I’m mostly interested in a conversion between WS220 and 235, but a general solution would be great of course.
Thanks for any feedback,
Wolfgang

I think there was a page on the old WormBase wiki : [http://wiki.wormbase.org/index.php/Converting\_Coordinates\_between\_releases](http://wiki.wormbase.org/index.php/Converting_Coordinates_between_releases)
Mostly GFF based, but it should work.

Thanks a real lot for the link!
Converting my data to gff should be straightforward, so it looks like this does exactly what I want.
Have a nice weekend,
Wolfgang
