How does one stain the body wall muscle in c elegans?
But not using phalloidin. There has to be an alternative for staining body wall muscles right?
You can fix the worm and use an anti-body to actin to stain the muscle. But phalloidin is a lot easier and faster and it is available in different colors.

I actually need something that will stain the body wall muscle without immunostaining or immunofluorescence. but im not able to use phalloidin either.
Is there an actual stain that i could use to stain the body wall muscle?
If you just need to visualize BWM, you can look by polarized light.
