pest control in labs

Hello. Our building manager has suggested using an exterminator, as brownbanded cockroaches have been seen in the labs and offices. The following chemicals were suggested: hydramethylnon baited granules, fipronil bait stations, and deltamethrin spray. Any ideas of the risk to our worms? I am getting samples to see if the odor will be enough to harm the worms, but I was hoping some other labs would have experience with successful roach control in their buildings.

Thanks.

deltamethrin is pretty toxic to worms; sub-microMolar will kill. The good news is that deltamethrin isn’t volatile, so getting contamination into your plates will take some carelessness.

Your other compounds are trade names, and I do not recognise them.
