Is there a published report on the pha-1 mutant rescued with pha-1 showing that the rescued strain lacks avoidance behavior? I have observed that a reporter strain (Promoter::GFP) in the pha-1 background with the co-injection marker pha-1 fails to avoid pathogens. Does the strain I received have a secondary mutation or does the pha-1 rescue not truly complement. I am no longer using this strain for microinjections but I am still curious if this phenotype has been described somewhere.
