Hi. Does anyone have a primer sequence for a really reliable positive PCR control for C. elegans genomic DNA? I need something that works every time.

Pretty much every primer pair I’ve ever found using [Primer3](http://frodo.wi.mit.edu/) for a 4-600 bp product from _elegans_ genomic DNA has worked (every time, from crude lysate, without having to do nested PCR).

If you want something that’s been used by many people lots of times, there are primer pairs for snip-SNP genotyping - see [Davis _et al_](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1242227/), for example.
