Postdoc at Yale: CeNGEN—the complete C. elegans Neuronal Gene Expression Network

Funded positions are available to generate and analyze a very large gene expression data set covering all individual C. elegans neuron types. Expertise in C. elegans biology, computational analysis of large RNAseq data sets, or both, is required. The successful candidate will help lead the CeNGEN project spanning multiple labs and institutions, including the Hammarlund and Sestan labs at Yale. The overall goal is to build a gene expression map of the nervous system with very high depth and specificity, and to analyze this map to discover novel insights into the nervous system. Applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and list of references to marc.hammarlund@yale.edu and to nenad.sestan@yale.edu.
