The Curran Lab is seeking an outstanding scientist for a Post-Doctoral Research position at the Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California. We are interested in the molecular mechanism underlying age related conditions including obesity, reproductive decline, and diminished capacity for adaptation to stress. Both in vivo and in vitro techniques are used in all investigations. Studies will utilize C. elegans, human cell culture and mouse models. Familiarity with all systems is ideal but applicants must have experience in at least one organism. Applicants must have a PhD degree in a relevant field in biology. Applicants should have a strong background in Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biochemistry techniques, the ability to work independently and function well with an outstanding group of researchers.
