One fully funded 4-year postdoctoral fellowship is available in Nathan Goehring’s Developmental Systems Lab, which will open at the Cancer Research UK London Research Institute in early 2013.

The Developmental Systems Lab seeks to apply multidisciplinary systems-level approaches to uncovering the design principles of developmental pattern-forming systems. Current work focuses on understanding polarization by the PAR polarity network during early development in C. elegans through the use of physical, chemical, genetic and optical manipulation as well as live cell imaging and mathematical modeling.

The London Research Institute has an international reputation for cutting edge research into basic biology and it is committed to training the next generation of research scientists. In 2015, the London Research Institute will become part of the new Francis Crick Institute, an exciting new biomedical research centre located in the heart of London.
