Postdoctoral Position- Developmental neurobiology

A postdoctoral position is available in the research area of developmental neurobiology. The goal of our research is to use the nematode C. elegans as a model system to elucidate genes and mechanisms that generate sensory diversity at molecular and neural circuit levels. Our research interests have been focused on molecular and genetic analysis of stochastic left-right neuronal asymmetry in a gap junction-dependent cell network. We are currently exploring novel molecular mechanisms underlying cellular diversity in the sensory system using the power of C. elegans genetics. Our lab is recently funded by a 5-year NIH R01 grant.
