Proto-oncogenic signaling networks: postdocs in the Reiner lab

Highly motivated, organized and responsible individuals with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. are invited to apply immediately for post-doctoral positions. Doctoral research experience in signaling, developmental biology, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry or metabolism is recommended. C. elegans experience is not essential for otherwise skilled applicants. The lab uses diverse genetic, phenotypic, screening, imaging and biochemical approaches to answer innovative questions about proto-oncogenic signaling networks in development, metabolism and ageing. Post-doctoral projects are designed to foster future research independence, and postdocs are expected to develop leadership and mentoring skills in addition to scientific expertise. The potential for cross-platform studies and high throughput screening for small molecule inhibitors exists for successful projects. The lab emphasizes collegiality, creativity, collaboration, mentoring and a strong sense of fun in our approach to science. Positions will remain open until filled.
