Dear all,
Does anyone know the phenotype of the rde-1;rrf-3 double ? Are the worms still resistant to RNAi similar to rde-1? It appears on the literature that this double is hard to make because of genome instability issues. Any experience with this?? Many thanks for your time

I haven’t made rde-1;rrf-3. However, I made eri-1;rde-1 strain. It is resistant to RNAi, like rde-1(-). Since rrf-3 and eri-1 are similar in all the RNAi assays we tested, I guess rde-1;rrf-3 is also resistant to RNAi.

I also made eri-1; rde-1 and found it to be RNAi resistant.

Have you tried putting RDE-1 back? If so, do the tissues expressing RDE-1 have enhanced RNAi?
