Research Technician, Baylor College of Medicine, Antebi lab

 The laboratory of Dr. Adam Antebi at the Huffington Center on Aging, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, seeks a laboratory research technician. Our laboratory works on the small roundworm C. elegans, an important model organism for the study of aging. The candidate will assist on a project focused on dietary restriction, a process that extends life span in diverse species. The candidate will perform strain maintenance and culture, molecular biology, microscopy, genetics and aging experiments, as well as carry out routine lab maintenance. The candidate should be highly motivated and be able to work in a team as well as independently. Applicants should have a BA/BS or masters degree and laboratory experience is recommended.
