Research technician/Lab manager position at Brandeis University

A research technician position is available in the Sengupta laboratory at Brandeis University. Research in the lab focuses on investigating the genetic, molecular and neuronal mechanisms by which environmental stimuli direct the development and behavior of C. elegans (see http://www.bio.brandeis.edu/senguptalab/). A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related sciences and some prior lab experience in molecular biology or genetics is required. Job responsibilities include maintaining the lab strain collection, general lab managerial duties including ordering supplies, as well as performing an independent or supervised research project. This position is ideal for an individual who wishes to acquire some additional research experience (and perhaps some publications!) prior to graduate studies.
