last May I asked if anyone had a reliable protocol for extracting total RNA from a single (small) worm or embryo; there were no replies. So, try, try again: does anyone have a reliable protocol for extracting total RNA from a single worm? We have tried various methods and the results have always been inconsistent. For our purposes, it’s very important that the protocol be reliable from sample to sample.
