How is worm age defined in worm community? In papers, I often see 1-day-old worm but don’t know how it is defined. Thanks for your help.

The age of the adult is measured from completion of the L4/adult molt, although it’s worth checking in any given reference to make sure they’re using the term in the same way (also, to check temperature and other culture conditions).
Day 1 is generally considered as 24 hrs post L4 stage at 20 C for a wild type worm.
