2 Postdoc positions - Recombineering - Hope lab Leeds UK, Dolphin lab KCL UK

Large-scale gene expression studies in Caenorhabditis elegans. The University of Leeds and King’s College London have received funding from The Wellcome Trust to each appoint a postdoctoral research associate and research technician to further develop and apply recombineering (Dolphin & Hope [2006] NAR 34:e72) to large-scale analysis of gene expression in C. elegans. The joint project includes scaling up of high throughput, automated construct production procedures and institute-specific projects that will make use of the large numbers of fosmid-derived constructs generated. All posts are available immediately and are funded for 36 months. Closing date for receipt of applications is 31st August 2007. A pdf of the formal advert with further details is available at http://bgypc059.leeds.ac.uk/~web/LeedsKCL.pdf or e-mail Ian (i.a.hope@leeds.ac.uk) or Colin (colin.dolphin@kcl.ac.uk) directly.
