About mutant generating and RNAi Protocol

Hi all experts:
I’m a newcomer here, and I’m expecting any advice from you.
I’m a graduate student now, and I’ll engage in the research of the dauer formation of a plant parasitic nematode. I need to generate some worm mutants so as to investigate the genes related. But now, a know little about how to generate mutants as well as the RNAi method, where and how can I get started?
Looking forward to your advice!

Best regards

Jones

You can find protocols for EMS mutagenesis and RNAi on wormbook.org. For RNAi by soaking I highly recommend the Sugimoto Lab protocol which can be found online in many places, just try googling it.

Thank you very much! I’ll have a try!
