Hi there,
I recently started teaching at a small college and have an extremely limited research budget. I was looking for recommendations on how to find a cheap but reliable dissection scope, ideally outfittable with fluorescence. Any suggestions for a girl on a shoe string budget would be greatly appreciated!
The TriTech scopes might be up your alley, but I know there’s a DIY version using LEDs that you can build yourself.

I recently purchased a deeply discounted stereoscope on eBay (no fluorescence), which works just as well as scopes 5X the cost.
NIGHTSEA also makes a nice fluorescence add-on to any stereoscope. It’s a nice compromise between DIY and $$$$$.
