AGING POSTDOC

A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine to study the genetics of aging in C. elegans.

Training in biochemistry and molecular biology is required. We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience in chromatin immunoprecipitation and large-scale sequencing technologies. Background in model organism research is preferred, but not essential. The project involves study of genes and proteins that operate between the reproductive tissues and the intestine to determine lifespan. Candidates with an interest in aging and an academic career are encouraged to apply.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications as well as productivity.
