The Department of Biology at Amherst College seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor
level in molecular biology, to begin July 2015.
The successful candidate will mount an active and widely-recognized research program that involves
undergraduate students. Competitive start-up funding and other institutional support are available.
Teaching duties include participation in lecture courses with laboratories in biochemistry,
in molecular genetics, and in a team-taught introductory course in molecular and cellular biology.
A completed Ph.D. is required and post-doctoral experience is expected.
