Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at Colorado College

Colorado College seeks a tenure-track assistant professor for the Department of Molecular Biology to start in the fall of 2023. Commitment to providing a diverse and inclusive undergraduate education and mentoring undergraduates in research is required. Primary teaching responsibilities will include MB131 Introduction to Molecular and Cellular Biology, MB201 Introductory Lab in Molecular Cellular Biology and Genetics, and one or more elective courses that complement and add variety to the current course offerings. We are interested in broadening the research interests of the Department of Molecular Biology, which currently include developmental genetics, neurobiology, molecular microbiology, immunology, and evolutionary genetics. Applicants should clearly address how their research interests diversify rather than duplicate existing research expertise in the Department of Molecular Biology.
