The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is seeking applications for outstanding candidates for tenure track positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor ranks in the field of Neuroscience.

Duties:
We seek candidates with a record of innovative basic and translational Neuroscience research. Areas of interest include: 1) neurodevelopmental disabilities 2) adult onset neurodegeneration 3) neurogenetic approaches to fundamental questions in Neuroscience 4) advanced imaging methods in cellular or systems Neuroscience.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D., a strong publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals, and potential for extramural funding at the Assistant Professor rank or current extramural funding at the Associate/Professor rank.
The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, be expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program and participate in teaching in graduate and medical school courses.
