Bombardment equipment

I am looking at purchasing equipment for gene bombardment. Right now I have a quote for a PDS-1000/He system. Is the Hepta Adaptor necessary for C.elegans bombardment? Are there any systems other than the PDS-1000 that are worth looking at?

No, the hepta adaptor is not necessary. It does speed the protocol up, though.
