DAPI Stainig protocol

Hi everyone!

I want to perform DAPI staining for embryos inside of the C. elegans. I had a protocol and tried it several times but my protocol could stain the C. elegans but not embryos. Does anyone have a working protocol for this purpose. Thanks for your helps and time.

fix/permeabliize them for about 15 min at room temp with 95% ethanol that contains 200 ng/ml DAPI then rehydrate and mount them up.
or fix, rehydrate and mount in vectashield plus dapi.
