Exporting sequence for a list of genes

Hello,

I would like to export DNA sequence for a list of about 100 genes for motif analysis. e.g., 1500 bp upstream for promoter analysis. What tool would be best for this?

I can confirm that we got this script to work with some small changes for our R versions etc. Unfortunately my student no longer has our version…but that one should work well with a few tweaks
