Interested modelling rare diseases such as ciliopathies in C. elegans? We are seeking a PhD student to carry out two complementary screens (a genetic suppressor screen and a drug repurposing screen) to identify novel therapeutic targets that restore cilia function to worm ciliopathy models.
The project will be jointly supervised by Dr. Karen Lange and Prof. Oliver Blacque at University College Dublin in Ireland. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2024 and the stipend is €19,000/annum (plus EU student fees). Only EU/UK eligible.
