Recently, a number of papers have come out showing gene knockout with the CRISPR/CAS system.
Are there any wormlabs that have established it, yet/any papers in the pipeline?

Are you attending the C. elegans worm meeting in LA at the end of the month? One of the workshops mentions a speaker discussing just what you are asking. So I’d attend that workshop if you can!

Yes, CRISPR works in worms. There is a plenary talk on it the first night of the upcoming international meeting, and three groups will talk about their experience using CRISPR at a workshop the last full day of the meeting; the workshop will also feature Te-Wen Lo of the Meyer lab talking about TALENs and ZFNs. I don’t know how many other groups have been trying CRISPR, but I’ve heard there are others. If you aren’t attending the meeting, or don’t want to wait, you can directly contact any of the people or labs presenting at that workshop and see what they’re willing to share with you.
The Calarco and Church labs now have a paper out on this for nematodes: http://www.nature.com/nmeth/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/nmeth.2532.html#methods
