Is it possible to maintain a GFP signal in worms fixed for EM?

Paul Sims succeeded in this task some years ago. Here is a link to a paper he presented at a national microscopy meeting.

There may be others who have tried other protocols, but Paul proved that it can be done on C. elegans.

If you search for this paper via the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) in Google, the journal and the article should pop up. From the journal website, the pdf seems to be available for free.
