GO Handbook: Primer on Ontologies

Did you know there’s an open access GO Handbook?
It’s a great resource both for newcomers to GO as well as those that just need a quick refresher or anyone that wants a deeper dive into ontologies. Today’s highlighed portion is the first chapter, a general introduction to modern computational ontologies as they are used in biology written by Janna Hastings. Although it’s a quick read, the chapter touches on a lot of topics important to understanding ontologies including relations and axioms. FInd it here:
