Has anyone used Cas9 protein?

Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone has used Cas9 protein rather than plasmid for their CRISPR experiments.

If so,

Does it increase the efficiency (as reported)?
Did you make your own Cas9 protein?

we are about the use the method described,

and were wondering about how much commercial Cas-9 to use in the injection mixes and
whether we should make up mixes fresh for each injection session

We’d appreciate any advice /experience
