Hoffman Modulation Contrast for injection

How do Hoffman Modulation Contrast and DIC compare for microinjection? If people have experience with both, could you comment on the relative ease of injecting between the two?

On that same topic, does anyone have experience with the Tritech HMC system for worm microinjection? Would you recommend it over, say, a DIC equipped Zeiss (or equivalent) scope for injections?

We tried both and a Zeiss with DIC is much better than a Zeiss with Hoffman.

I have tried both Hoffman and DIC on a Nikon and I agree with Greg that DIC is much better. Injection is doable with the Hoffman optics, but is much more difficult to teach a newbie how to do it, since the gonads and needle tip are harder to visualize.
