How to update new version of wormbase virtual machine ?

How to update my wormbase virtual machine to the latest version (WS215)?
I opened the terminal window and typed “bin/pull_software.sh” as mentioned at http://wiki.wormbase.org/index.php/Virtual_Machines
the reply is:

rsync : failed to connect to dev.wormbase.org: Connection timed out (110)
rsync error : error in socket I0 (code 10) at clientserver.c (94) -->pulling software onto node failed…

to be fair, I don’t think that is still supported, as such.
But Todd was working on a new way to build/sync the mirrors, maybe he can chime in.
