International worms shipping - customs

I need to recieve a worm strain from Australia to the US. Do we need to do anything special for customs (forms etc…)?

Hi Keith,
I’m working in France and when we send strains to the US by Fedex we fill a Proforma Invoice (http://www.docstoc.com/docs/4681057/FACTURE-PRO-FORMA-PRO-FORMA-INVOICE-FACTURE-PRO-FORMA). You may write that the shipment contains “biological samples, non toxic, non hazardous, for research use only. Dangerous good does not apply”.That’s all you need.
