John Carroll University Postdoctoral Fellowship for Faculty Diversity

John Carroll University is pleased to invite you to apply for one our newly established Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowships. Starting in the fall 2016 semester, this opportunity offers an attractive compensation that includes housing, benefits, conference travel funding, mentoring and faculty development opportunities, and a stipend consistent with the national average for first-year postdocs. This postdoctoral fellowship program seeks to promote the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty at John Carroll University.

The program does this by advancing the careers of emerging scholars from groups in the US society that have been historically underrepresented in the academic profession. It provides recent doctorate recipients the opportunity to advance their teaching expertise (two courses per semester), advance their long-term research agenda, and participate as an active member of the academic community.

One of 28 Jesuit Catholic institutions of higher education (includes Georgetown, Fordham, Loyola(s), Seattle University, Marquette University, Fairfield University, Creighton University, Boston College, St. Louis University, Holy Cross, and others), John Carroll University is located in the Cleveland suburb, University Heights, OH.
