The Centre d’Immunologie at Marseille-Luminy (www.ciml.univ-mrs.fr) is inviting applications for group leader positions. The CIML is located on a pluridisciplinary University campus in the South of France. While particular attention will be given to projects addressing adaptive immunity, epigenetics and systems biology, the CIML welcomes applications from outstanding candidates interested in any aspect of human and model organism immunology including pathology, genetics, cell biology, evolution and development. The CIML actively promotes equal opportunities; applications from female scientists are especially welcome. Researchers using C. elegans to address fundamental questions in the field of host-pathogen interactions are encouraged to apply.
The CIML has a tradition of high quality research and provides an outstanding international research environment, with a renowned graduate program. The institute is currently composed of 230 members in 16 laboratories and 8 scientific core facilities.
Candidates are asked to provide:

- A concise presentation of future research plans, with particular attention to their ground-breaking nature (max. 5 pages)
