Lab Tech Position Grant Lab at Rutgers University

The Grant lab in the Rutgers Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry is searching for an entry level technician to join our group. We study cell biological mechanisms related to endocytosis, extracellular vesicles, and autophagy in C. elegans neuronal and non-neuronal systems. The open position would be an especially good match for a recent graduate who would like to work in a lab for a few years before applying to graduate school or medical school. The applicant who fills this position would be expected to spend a significant amount of time doing C. elegans DNA microinjection, as well as DNA cloning, genetics, and lab maintenance. We are happy to teach the relevant skills. Previous experience with C. elegans and/or microscopy is not required but is a plus. Interested parties please apply here: Rutgers University Employment Opportunities | Laboratory Technician . For questions please contact barthgra@dls.rutgers.edu.
