Not unlike the model organism we use, WormBase is evolving rapidly. Ugh. Sorry.
This has made running your own copy of Wormbase difficult. But with the introduction of WormBase virtual machines, it’s exceedingly easy to do so.
I’ve just started a new mailing list intended primarily to announce new features and potential gotchas for users running WormBase locally or maintaining a mirror site.
