marker genes for Nippostrongilus brasiliences

Hi, everyone

we started a project where’re infecting different transgenic mice with Nippostrongilus brasiliensis and H.poly (nematode). The purpose is to figure out some aspects of host native immunity in host/parasite relationship. We found that in some of our Tg mice Nippo worms are very lean and they are generating much less eggs vs. congenic controls.
Does anybody can recommend what markers it would be good to look at to characterize physiological status of worms? I have in mind some measurement of gene expression (qPCR) or Western with available Ab. Our wild guess that the problem with worms is feeding, so may be something related to methabolism pathway?

Any suggestions are appreciated greatly,
