Hey everyone-
Has anyone tried (successfully or unsuccessfully) to integrate two gene cassettes in tandem into the same site using the MosSCI method? One of my cassettes is very small (less than 1kB) and I was hoping to insert another promoter + gene at the same locus in one go.
Another alternative is to use an internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) but I am not sure if any have been characterized in C. elegans.
Does anyone know if either of these ideas are feasible (or if you have tried them and deemed them impossible)? Any input is greatly appreciated.
