The Department of Biology at the University of Miami is seeking full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty members to join our department as part of the College of Arts & Sciences cluster hiring initiative (Workday).
The Department of Biology is an integrative department that cultivates interactions that traverse traditional interdisciplinary boundaries. We value a balance across the academic domains of research, teaching, and service. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience who have demonstrated creativity and productivity in research, and have a strong interest in undergraduate and graduate education. Applications will be considered at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor ranks. Appointment is anticipated to start on August 15, 2021. To be eligible for a tenure-track appointment, candidates must hold a Ph.D. by the appointment start date. Applications can be submitted via the UM Careers website at Workday and shall include:
