Dear all,
I have a worm strain expressing a GFP-labelled protein which binds the interior leaflet of the PM. Suprisingly, I do find the GFP-signal in the coelomocytes what means that the protein is secreted somehow. Is this generally observed for proteins which bind to the PM also if they are not related to any exocytosis activity?
