Postdoctoral positions are available for studying mitotic and meiotic chromosome dynamics in the model organism C. elegans. Projects include characterizing the mechanisms that respond to defects in meiotic synapsis, meiotic recombination or mitotic chromosome segregation. Highly motivated individuals who have recently obtained their Ph.D. are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry techniques, the ability to work independently and function well with an outstanding group of researchers. Quantitative skills are preferred but not required.
