Post Doctoral position available

A postdoctoral position is available to study worm neuroethology in the laboratory of David Biron at the University of Chicago, Chicago IL, starting anytime in 2009. We use C. elegans as a model system for understanding how small neural circuits work. Possible projects include quantitative measurements of behavior and imaging of neural activity, quantitative measurements and analysis of gene expression in neurons and characterizing novel behavioral states.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and should have expertise in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry. Experience with C. elegans is desirable, but not necessary. If interested, please send a cover letter, a Curriculum Vitae and a list of two-three referees to david.biron_at_gmail.com .
