An NSF-funded position for a recent Ph.D is available in the Haag laboratory, in the Department of Biology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
The project will examine the structure, function, and evolution of male reproductive proteins in multiple species of Caenorhabditis nematodes.
In addition, the successful applicant will be encouraged to develop an independent project of their own.
Applicants should have experience with molecular biology, genetics, and microscopy. While a background in C. elegans research is appreciated, it is not essential.
