Job description:
A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Sun lab in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine, Washington State University, Spokane, WA. By using Caenorhabditis elegans as a model organism, research in the Sun lab focuses on neural regulation of immunity in response to microbial infection.
Highly motivated scientists are invited to apply for this position. Applicants should hold a Ph. D. degree in a relevant field of biology and proficient with gene cloning and plasmid construction. Research background in neurobiology or immunology will be a plus. Experience with fluorescent and confocal imaging will be an advantage. Candidates are expected to work independently in the laboratory.
